Standard First Aid at Work Requalificaiton - 2 Days
A Health & Safety Executive Approved 2 day course that complies with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Approved Code of Practice L74 guidelines for the re-qualifications of workplace First Aiders.

Who Should Attend?
The course is open to persons who currently fulfill the position of qualified workplace first aider. Delegates must be in possession of a valid (unexpired) First Aid at Work Certificate issued by any HSE Approved training organisation.
Course Content
The course offers a refresher of all subjects taught on the 4 Day Statutory First Aid at Work course and also introduces any new techniques, legislation or guidelines that have arisen since the delegate originally trained:
- Aims and principles of first aid
- Resucitation
- Recovery Position
- Secondary Survey
- Unconscious Casualty Management
- Head Injuries/Stroke/Choking/Astham/Hyperventilation/Collapsed Lung
- Heart Conditions/Shock/Crush Injuries/Wounds and Bleedinmg
- Burns/Fractures/Dislocations/Sprains and Strains/Spinal injuries
- Effects of Heat and Cold/Diabetes/Poisons/Epilepsy
- First Aid Equipment
- First Aid at Work and the Law

Assessment
There will be two assessments, one theory and one practical
Completion Certificate
On successful completion of the course and final assessments, the delegate will receive the HSE approved, nationally recognised First Aid at Work Certificate. This is valid for three years.
