Who Should Attend?

Where an employer has carried out a risk assessment and identified the need for a fully qualified First Aider, a person should be nominated fro training in accordance with HSE guidance and legal obligations.  Potential First Aiders should:

·         Possess an aptitude to absorb new knowledge and learn new skills

·         Be able to deal with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures

·         Have duties that do not prevent them going immediately to an emergency

Course Content

A comprehensive three day course covering a wide range of first aid emergencies and how to deal with them, enabling participants to qualify to the level of First Aider for the workplace meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This course can be tailored to the requirements of specific work environments.
